What if I told you that we've had it wrong all this time?
That this notion that working 12-hour days, the trend of "5 to 9," the idea that the harder you work, the further you'll go—it's not exactly where it's at.
What if I told you that the most significant innovation doesn't happen in a boardroom? That creativity stems from mental clarity, and to clear your mind, you need to rest.
For many years, I lived the "work hard, play hard" lifestyle. It led me to burnout—an exhaustion and stress level that left me unable to think, create, or be strategic.
It wasn't working for me, so I decided to listen to my body, which was telling me that I needed to rethink my lifestyle.
After much introspection, conversations with more experienced individuals, and research, I began to adopt the philosophy of "work smart, play smart."

I discovered that talking to friends, resting, connecting with nature, dancing, cooking—these are just as important (if not more) than sitting in front of a computer.
Disconnecting is a significant pathway to innovation.
Now, I'm not saying we should always take it easy. What I'm proposing is that we question the hustle culture and make time for active breaks to clear our minds.
For me, freeing my mind and disconnecting have been the most valuable tools for unlocking my thoughts. Active rest has allowed me to solve problems and, above all, boost my creativity.
So today, I invite you to unlock your mind in whatever way works best for you.
Go for a walk, chat with friends, dance, sing, and embrace the concept of "work smart, play smart."
Thanks for reading.
