Someone Somewhere: Paving the Way for Sustainability and Social Impact in Mexico!

Today, we're diving into some exciting news that could change the way we look at creating social impact within our supply chains, thanks to the trailblazers at Someone Somewhere. ✨

For the past 11 years, Someone Somewhere has been paving the way and breaking boundaries for all social entrepreneurs out there.

The big news is that they are the FIRST MEXICAN COMPANY in manufacturing to earn the #ClimateNeutral certification.

Coupled with the B Corp certification, this company's taking big steps towards changing the products we buy.

For the first time ever, consumers like you and me can have carbon-neutral products made in Mexico. But this goes beyond just you and me.

Here's the mind-blowing part: Companies like Delta Air Lines are teaming up with Someone Somewhere to create social impact within their supply chains.

Starting this year, all first-class amenity kits on Delta flights are produced by Mexican artisans, thanks to this company.

And from today onwards... all those products are climate neutral!

Just imagine this: Previously, these kits were being manufactured in factories that were harming the planet. Today, they generate 500,000 hours of well-paid artisanal work each year, and the few emissions it produces are being offset.

Let me share a bit more about this company's goals, which showcase various ways manufacturing companies can have more sustainable processes:

🍃 Design products built to last, easy to repair, recycle, and reuse.

🍃 Use materials with a smaller carbon and water footprint.

🍃 Optimize their logistics and distribution.

🍃 Reduce the use of plastics and switch to biodegradable packaging.

🍃 Embrace renewable energy sources.

Pretty cool, right?

I don't know about you, but I'm excited to witness this moment in history.

Go follow Fátima Álvarez Herrerías, Enrique Rodríguez Aréchiga, and Antonio Nuño and be a part of this amazing impact story. 🌎✨
